Since our very beginnings in the early 1800s, BOVET has been expert at designing and producing unique timepieces for our clients. We relish the opportunity to work directly with clients to make their timepiece dreams come true.
In a joint effort between the House of BOVET and Rolls-Royce, the dual teams of designers, conceptors, craftsmen, and BOVET’s watchmakers crafted two unique timepieces and the system to mount them in the dashboard of the one-of-a-kind Boat Tail car, thanks to an adapted Amadeo system.
The lady’s 18K white gold timepiece is fully hand-engraved and filled with lacquer. The gent’s timepiece is polished 18K white gold. Both timepieces have special dials on both sides – they both have wood marquetry dials using the same wood as on the Boat Tail car, while the lady’s reverse dial is a miniature painting of a flower bouquet, and the gent’s has the owner’s sky chart in aventurine
A miniature sculpture of the Boat Tail is on both timepieces, while on the other side is the Spirit of Ecstasy sculpture.
